Database of Palestinian films, many of which deal directly with the Nakba and its ongoing consequences, reflections on exile, refugeehood, and the right of return. This resource collection provides synopses of dozens of Palestinian films, initially compiled by Columbia University Professor Hamid Dabashi. The project also gave rise to Dabashi's edited volume, Dreams of a Nation: On Palestinian Cinema, which analyzes major themes in Palestinian film. Films featured in this database are archived in the Columbia University Library.
