Digital archive of oral history testimonies from Palestinians, particularly survivors of the 1948 Nakba. The audiovisual collections are divided into four themes: “Uprooting” on the ethnic cleansing of Palestine; “Folktales,” which documents Palestinian folklore and culture before 1948; “Ein Al-Hilwat,” featuring interviews of women living in the Ein Al-Hilwah refugee camp; and “Biographies,” oral histories compiled on the lives of Palestinians. AL-JANA and Nakba Archive conducted the interviews, and AUB library archived, indexed, catalogued, digitized, and maintains the collection. Joint project of the American University of Beirut, the Nakba Archive, and the Arab Resource Center for Popular Arts (AL-JANA).
