A Forensic Architecture investigation examining Israel's system of evacuation orders and designated 'safe zones' in Gaza, arguing that these function as a form of humanitarian violence that funnels Palestinian civilians into increasingly confined areas while continuing to subject them to attack. Conducted in collaboration with Al Mezan Center for Human Rights and Al-Haq. The investigation documents how designated safe zones, including al-Mawasi and Rafah, were repeatedly bombed after civilians were ordered to evacuate to them, and how the evacuation order system was used to engineer the forced displacement and concentration of Gaza's population under conditions of siege. Particularly valuable for researchers and legal advocates studying forced displacement, the weaponization of humanitarian frameworks, and the legal dimensions of Israel's evacuation order system as a mechanism of population control and civilian harm during the War on Gaza.
