Report on the Haganah’s intelligence-gathering efforts in Palestinian territories between 1943 and 1948. Documents the “Village Files” project, in which scouts collected geographical, topographical, and planning information on Palestinian villages and urban neighborhoods, including roads, houses, public buildings, and natural features. Discusses the use of aerial photography disguised as educational excursions to bypass British restrictions. The reports provide detailed insight into pre-1948 Palestinian communities and the Zionist military preparations that preceded the Nakba. This source is valuable for historical research on the Nakba, Palestinian villages, Palestinian displacement, ethnic cleansing, the British Mandate, Zionist militias, Haganah, and the Palmach Squadron.
