UNICEF humanitarian situation update on Gaza covering the early ceasefire period, documenting that since the start of the ceasefire on October 10, 2025 through the end of 2025, 529 Palestinians were reported killed, including more than 120 children, with 1,184 Palestinians injured. According to to the report, "no hospital is fully functional in Gaza." Humanitarian health missions inside Gaza continue to face regular access restrictions, mission denials, damaged road networks, limited warehouse capacity, and restrictions on basic medical equipment such as respirators, ventilators, and incubators. Extensive damage to water, sanitation, and waste management infrastructure, combined with restrictions and harsh winter conditions, leaves almost the entire population exposed to severe public health risks. Recommended for child rights researchers and humanitarian practitioners seeking UNICEF's comprehensive early-ceasefire update, with specific data on child casualties, health mission denials, and the public health risks created by the interaction of infrastructure damage, access restrictions, and winter conditions.
