Documentation project that tracks Israeli settlement activity. Database contains quarterly reports on settlement activity in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip (occupied by Israel from 1967 to 2005) that were issued by FMEP from 1991 to 2014. Reports include information on Washington’s position on settlements as it transformed over time, and US complicity. Since 2017, FMEP has issued its settlement report on a weekly basis, also accessible through this database. This source is valuable for research on Israeli settlements, settler violence, Israeli expansionism, US-Israel relations, international law, Palestinian land rights, Area C, and West Bank annexation.
