UN Human Rights (OHCHR) statement by High Commissioner Volker Türk 6 months after the October 2025 ceasefire, reporting that at least 32 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since early April 2026, with airstrikes, gunfire, and shelling persisting daily, bringing to 738 the number killed since the ceasefire. Victims include women, children, people with disabilities, a humanitarian contractor, and a journalist who was the 294th journalist killed by Israeli forces since October 2023 as verified by OHCHR. Israel continues to enforce a blanket ban on independent access by international journalists. At least 589 aid workers have been killed in Gaza, including 397 UN staff. Recommended for researchers and advocates working on accountability for continued killing during the ceasefire, with Türk's authoritative 6th-month OHCHR-verified figures.
