Not My Tax Dollars is an initiative by the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights that provides information on US military aid to Israel, as part of USCPR's wider organizing to end support for the oppression of Palestinians. A major feature of this site is an interactive map that displays the estimated amount of tax revenue sent to the Israeli military at the national, state, and city levels. After choosing a locale, the map displays the tax dollars sent to Israel and delineates what that same amount of funding could do for residents of that area--for example, how many families could be provided public housing for one year, how many children could receive affordable or free healthcare, and how many teachers' salaries could be funded in that area. Site also features information on how to contact elected officials to speak on this issue, flyers, and other informative resources. This digital resource is impactful for research on US military aid to Israel and Palestinian rights advocacy, and serves as an effective grassroots organizing tool for engaging US elected officials and everyday Americans on US aid to Israel.
